Discover movies concept

The concept

I wanted to explore a concept of discovering movies using trailers, so I built a prototype using Framer. It also gave me an opportunity to play with some SVG animation, which I used for the play icon loading indicator.

What’s next?

I would like to add actions to each trailer, so that users can jump into a playback/purchase journey or add the selected movie to a watch list for later.

A quick note on getting the prototype working

If using Safari, after opening the prototype go to, Safari > Settings for This Website and select Auto-Play: Allow All Auto-Play and then refresh. Also, keyboard navigation does not work in Firefox.
